Master planning and building design for 33 staff housing blocks serving Wasl's hotel portfolio, complete with gym, pool, and courtyard clusters.
Wasl Asset Management Group owns and operates hotels across Dubai, and recognized a gap in dedicated, well-run staff housing for that workforce. AWAJ was appointed lead consultant for master planning, infrastructure, and building design.
The result is 33 G+3 buildings across three typical unit types — two studio layouts and a one-bedroom plan — arranged around landscaped courtyards. Shared amenities include a gymnasium, a semi-Olympic pool, outdoor play courts, and a community park with water features and a jogging track, built to make long-term staff housing feel like an actual neighborhood rather than a labor camp.
