The winning competition entry was designed incorporating all features to give it a look and feel of a building housing an Authority, where lateral and vertical growth is promoted, It holds an elevated stand, is grounded, traditional and yet modern. The design was well received and was adjudged the winning entry amongst other presentation from competing consultancies.
Visual and azimuthal orientations were well incorporated along with features that will make it energy efficient as well as cost efficient. The whole mass was elevated to allow for stilt parking, which can overflow into the additional space behind meant for future expansion. The stilt parking reduced the basement requirement to a single-basement, thus providing savings on cost and time, apart from allowing the envisaged elevated platform, complemented with a wide flight of steps - making the building a destination in itself.
